Pyles, Angela

Pyles, Angela “Angie”, age 32, of Pittsburgh, PA, formerly of Clarington, Ohio, died Saturday, June 26, 2010 at UPMC in Pittsburgh.
She was born January 13, 1978 in Glen Dale, WV, a daughter of Richard and Linda Christy Pyles.
Angie was a respiratory therapist in Pittsburgh; a 1996 graduate of River High School; and a 2002 graduate of WVNCC.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charles and Lucille Pyles; and her maternal grandfather, Denzil Christy.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her brother, Christopher Pyles of Clarington; her maternal grandmother, Audrey Christy of Sistersville, WV; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was an organ donor, giving to people in need. Her final gift, her final deed.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Grisell Funeral Home, 125 Clarinda Drive, Clarington, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am with Evangelist Edward Melott officiating.

 
 
Campbell, Mary M.
June 25, 2010

Campbell, Mary M. age 73, of Cox Street, New Martinsville, died Friday, June 25, 2010 in Wetzel County Hospital.
She was born February 26, 1937 in Folson, WV, the daughter of the late James and Icie Molson Edgell.
She was a member of New Martinsville Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Joe and Ronald Edgell.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years Robert Lee Campbell, four sons Barron Lee (Donna) Campbell of Skowhegan, ME, Michael Neil (Debbie) Campbell, Jeffrey Dale (Sharon) Campbell, John Eric Campbell all of New Martinsville; two daughters Marsha Ann (Butch) Klug of Proctor, Bobbi Jo (John) Dyer of New Martinsville; one brother Samuel K. (Kay) Edgell of New Martinsville; 27 grandchildren & great-grandchildren whom she loved very much.
Family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 751 Third St., New Martinsville, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. David Snyder officiating.
Interment in Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Pine Grove.

Lorentz, David A.
June 25, 2010

Lorentz, David A. “Lorenzo”, age 32, of RD 2, Proctor, passed away Friday, June 25, 2010 in Wheeling Hospital Medical Park.
He was born on January 9, 1978 in Santa Clara, California, the son of Kathleen Kociban Lorentz of Benwood and the late David T. Lorentz.
He was a truck driver for Burns Drilling and Excavating in Pennsylvania; owner of Lorenzo Roofing; a 1997 graduate of John Marshall High School; a member of the Sons of Legion Post 46 in Benwood; and loved spending time with his children, family, and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Andy and Anna Kociban, Thomas and Mildred Lorentz; and an uncle Phillip Kociban.
Survivors include his wife Stacey Meadows; two sons Wyatt and Colton Lorentz both at home; his mother Kathleen Lorentz (Randall Cusick); four sisters Melissa Lorentz (Andrew Teets) of Bruceton Mills, WV, Yolanda (Henry) Gonzales, Andrea Rivera, and Maria Rivera all of San Antonio, TX; his father-in-law and mother-in-law David and Belinda Meadows of Proctor; a brother-in-law Shain (Cindy) Meadows of Proctor; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family, and friends.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am with Fr. Terrance J. Adams officiating.
Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling

Helms, Shirley

Helms, Shirley Florence, age 67 of Division St., Moundsville, WV died Sunday, June 20, 2010 at home.
She was born April 3, 1943 in Glen Dale, WV the daughter of Irene D. Burge Miller of Moundsville and the late Clarence “Booty” Miller.
She was a caretaker, a taxi driver, a Nazarene by faith; and a member of Facebook.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Scott Littleton.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Bob Helms; three children, Jeffrey Martin (Fran) Littleton of Florida, Lisa Littleton (Michael) Wilson, and Robert Lewis (Donna) Rohrer, all of Moundsville; two brothers, Alan (Mary Jo) Miller of Moundsville, and Robert (Nancy) Miller of Midlothian, VA; eight grandchildren, Steve, Richard, Garrett, Kati, Kristin, Nicholas, Shaun, and Amy; three great-grandchildren, Annie, Remi, and Holden; several nieces, nephews, and cousins including Sharon Brown and Danny Burge.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11am with Pastor Paul Smith officiating.
Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.

 
 
Scyoc, Bonnie L.

Scyoc, Bonnie L., age 53, of Washington Lands, formerly of Cameron, died Friday, June 18, 2010 at Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
She was born September 28, 1956 in Wetzel County, WV, the daughter of the late Brooks and Goldie Spencer Bland.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; a friend to all that knew her; and a Christian by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Scyoc of Washington Lands; three daughters, Chris (Bobby Neely) Scyoc of Cameron, Stephanie (Billy) Parker of Moundsville, and Candi (Ron) Galentine of Washington Lands; two brothers, Gene and Jeff; four sisters, Patty Jean, Bobbie, Connie, and Shelia; ten grandchildren, Ronald Lee and Catelyn Galentine, Kacie Rhome, Brittany and Mackencie Neely, Mashae Anderson, Sabrina Parker, Billy Parker, Kayla Parker, Brittany Wallace; and one great-grandchild, Brayden Murphy.
Family will receive friends on Sunday from 12-3 & 7-9pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11am.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 2pm at K of P Cemetery in Pine Grove, WV.

Mason, Imogene A. “Jeanie”, age 70 of 5th St., New Martinsville, WV went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 18, 2010 at home.
She was born May 11, 1940 in Clarksburg, WV the daughter of the late Fred R. and Anne Dilly Dillmore.
She was a homemaker, and an Avon representative for 20 years; a member of First Presbyterian Church of New Martinsville; and a bowler for 40 years.
Survivors include her husband, Richard L. Mason; two sons, Todd R. Mason of Allentown, PA, and Richard L., II (Beth) Mason of Buckeye Lake, OH; a daughter, Kelly Anne Mason of New Martinsville; a grandson, Colten C. Mason; and enhancing her life were friends, Gerald Kocher, Siniva and Mike Herrick, Janet and Phil Wendt, and most of all her sister, Shirley Jo Fain of San Diego, CA.
Family will receive friends on Sunday from 5-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third St., New Martinsville where funeral services will be held Monday at 11am with Pastor David Roberts officiating.
Interment in Northview Cemetery New Martinsville.

Bridgeman, Thomas R., age 59 of N. State Route 2, New Martinsville, WV died Thursday, June 17, 2010 at home.
He was born July 25, 1950 in New Martinsville, the son of the late William and Nancy Bridgeman.
He was an employee of Bridgeman Brother’s Ford; attended St. Ann’s Episcopal Church; and a member of American Legion Post #28, New Martinsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Bridgeman.
Survivors include a sister, Ann Bridgeman of New Martinsville.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00pm until time of memorial service at 3pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third St., New Martinsville with Pastor Bruce Taylor officiating.

Chambers, Sue Ella, age 54 of Suwanee, GA, formerly of Glen Easton, WV died Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at home.
She was born August 23, 1955 in Glen Dale, WV the daughter of Thomas “Cy” Aston of Moundsville, and the late Eva Harris Aston.
She was a member of Fork Ridge Christian Church; attended Praise Fellowship Church, where she was active in the children’s nursery.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Nina Aston; and a brother, Lyle Aston.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, David L. Chambers; a daughter, Amber Chambers of Suwanee; her father; good friends, Albert Edwards, and Sean Edwards, both of Suwanee, a brother, Van (Vicki) Aston of Glen Easton, WV; three nieces, Erica Aston, Kara (Bennie) Hall and Misty Atkinson; four nephews, Brant Aston, Ian Aston, Jason Chambers, and Nathan Chambers.
Family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11am with Pastor Ed Moore and Pastor Christy Moore officiating.
Interment in Fork Ridge Christian Church Cemetery.

Sine, Christine L., age 58 of Ford St., Moundsville, WV died Monday, June 14, 2010 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
She was born April 17, 1952 in Moundsville, the daughter of the late W.H. “Bob” and Olga Arrojo Sine.
She was a food service attendant; attended Simpson United Methodist Church; was a member of Moundsville Chapter Eastern Star #86; a member and past High Priestess of Isis Court #1 Ladies Oriental Shrine; and a member and past Queen of Wardah Husam Temple #53 Daughters of the Nile.
Survivors include three aunts, Marian Wolfe of Moundsville, Anita Grammer of Proctor, and Inez A. Rakoskie of Glen Dale, and numerous cousins.
Family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville, where funeral services will be held Friday at 1pm with Rev. Teresa G. Markins officiating.
Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville, WV.

June 13, 2010

Szcziglak, Virginia “Aunt Ginny”, age 90 died Sunday, June 13, 2010 in Mound View Health Care Center, Moundsville, WV.
She was born August 24, 1919 in Barton, OH the daughter of the late, Vincent and Veronica Imanelski Szcziglak.
She was retired from the former Louis Marx Toy Plant; and a member of St. Francis Xavier Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, George Siglock, Sigmond, Bruno, Walter, Adam and Stanley Szcziglak; and a sister, Lottie George.
Survivors include two sisters, her twin sister, Helen Szcziglak of Moundsville, and Elizabeth Rhome of Jacobsburg, OH; and fifteen nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1-2pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville and Funeral Liturgy with Mass being celebrated Wednesday at 2pm at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 610 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville with Fr. Gregory Plow, TOR as celebrant.
