Knowlton, Mildred, age 84 of Market St., Clarington, OH died Sunday, January 15, 2012 in Wheeling Hospital Medical Park, Wheeling, WV.
She was born August 25, 1927 in Powhatan Point, OH, the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Mlik Smigill.
She was a retired employee of the Steel Workers Union Hall,
Clarington; and a member of Clarington Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Knowlton; five brothers, Walter, Rudy, John, Mike, and Tony Smigill; and three sisters, Jean Smigill, Mary Biggio, and Ann Hagelberger.
Survivors include a son, Russell "Fuzz" Knowlton of Woodsfield, OH; two daughters, Diana Hauck, and Bonnie Whittington, both of Glen Dale, WV; three grandchildren, Megan Whittington of Marysville, OH, Ryan Whittington of Scottsdale, AZ, and Derek Knowlton of Powhatan Point, OH; a great-grandson, Jackson Knowlton; a sister, Virginia Young of Los Angeles, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
