Gill, Icie I., age 93 of Wheeling, WV, formerly of Moundville, WV died Sunday, January 29, 2012 in Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling. She was born December 29, 1918 in Webster Springs, WV the daughter of the late Charles and Hassie Cochran. She was the owner and beautician of the former Icie's Beauty Shop, Moundsville; a member of Moundsville Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and taught at Moundsville Christian School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Gill; two grandsons, Jason and Todd Gill; and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Bobbi L. (Allen) Taylor of Wheeling; two sons, Jack Gill of St. Albans, WV, and Danny (Judy) Gill of Ladson, SC; a sister, Zet Cochran of IN; five grandchildren, Dan Gill, Travis Gill, Tracy Youngblood, Shane Gill, and Angela Taylor; twelve great-grandchildren, Bradley, Kennedy, Jacob, Reagan, Grant, Alex, Victoria, Zach, Jessica, Jacob, Charles Michael, and Savanah; and several nieces and nieces. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10am with Rev. J. Thomas Steele officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be held Wednesday at 2pm at Shinnston Cemetery, Rt#1 and US Route 19, Shinnston, WV.
