# Bonnie Potts Detling 2012-02-06 04:58 I'm wondering if Mildred was my first grade teacher in Hannibal. She was wonderful. My condolences to your family. Reply | Reply with quote | Quote

# Sally 2012-02-11 19:27 Bonnie…you are thinking of my aunt, not my mother. Aunt Mildred was my husband's first grade teacher too! Reply | Reply with quote | Quote

# To Sally and Tracy 2012-02-06 05:42 Ms. Sally I am so very sorry that I never got to meet her. I will forever be warmed by all the wonderful stories Tracy shared with me about her.

I love my "sister" Tracy, she has always been a gift and that has to be because of the wonderful women in her life.

Thinking of you and keeping you and your family in my prayers for peace.

# Sally 2012-02-13 03:25 Barbie:

Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and prayers. I know from Tracy that you are a very special and loving woman, with a wonderful family. Mom would have loved to meet you. She encouraged me very much in creating your "red thread" throw, although she fussed at me that I was making it much too big :). And she LOVED getting to know Sofie and seeing pictures of her in her new home!

I appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

I hope the week of remembering the life of "Nanny" has not been too hectic. She touched a lot of lives, including yours, and it turn you all touch many lives more. I wish I could have made it up to help out but I was unable. I am always here for you if you need me.

# sally 2012-02-18 10:50 Thank you, Steve. You are a great friend. You know we would love to see you anytime, but it wasn't necessary for you to miss work and drive all the way here. Thanks for the offer though!

Thanks, too, for honoring mom's wishes to support our local dog shelter.

Sorry about not responding sooner…got frustrated as this web site will only allow ONE reply A DAY. Get this message "You have recently added a new condolence message, please try again later". FRUSTRATING
