Hartley, Loren E., age 63 of Cunningham Lane, Moundsville, WV died Thursday, February 9, 2012 at home. He was born March 28, 1948 in Glen Dale, WV the son of the late Okey and Blanche Palmer Hartley. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran; a retired employee from Shoemaker Consol Mine; a member of New Martinsville Apostolic Church; Earl Francis Post #3 American Legion; and enjoyed fishing and hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Dennis Powell. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Patricia Ann Hartley; three daughters, Hope Hartley, Lisa Martin, and Michelle Martin, all of Moundsville; two brothers, Jerry (Barb) Hartley of PA, and Ray (Mary Ann) Hartley of WV; three sisters, Linda (Duane) Clarke of AZ, Cindy (Bill) South, and Jeanette (Daniel) Longworth, all of Moundsville; four grandchildren, Anthony Martin, Anna Powell, Ashlee Martin, and Samuel Powell; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1pm with Pastor Randy K. Hardbarger officiating. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville where the Moundsville Honor Guard will conduct Military Graveside Services.
