Gouldsberry, Nathan J., age 41 of Second St., Moundsville, WV died Monday, February 13, 2012 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
He was born January 21, 1971 in Glen Dale, WV the son of Thomas L. and Theresa M. Meyers Gouldsberry of Moundsville.
He was a graduate of John Marshall High School and Northern community College; employee of AT&T Call Center; a member of Middle Grave Creek Church of God, a leader with Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and 4-H, an Archery coach with Marshall County Schools; and a musician, guitarist, and vocalist.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Mary Lou Richards.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife of 16 years, Jody Richards Gouldsberry; four children, Helena Richards, Amanda, Linzay and Jonathan Gouldsberry, all at home; a granddaughter, Emilyn Richards; father-in-law, Dave Richards of Moundsville; four adopted Girl Scout daughters, Christina Wood, Kayla Holmes, Katie Mencer, and Alexandria Blake; nephews, Michael Brown and Austin Ebbert; and a niece, Ryanne Ebbert.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8pm and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville where funeral services will be held Friday at 11am with Pastor David Sessums and Pastor Paul K. Smith officiating.
Interment in Valley Brook Memorial Gardens, Moundsville.
Memorial contributions may be to Middle Grave Creek Church of God, 3185 Middle Grave Creek Rd., Moundsville, WV 26041, for his children.
