Tributes

Tomlinson, Ann Theresa Kish, age 100, Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother, formerly of Glen Dale, WV died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 in Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling, WV. She was born June 24, 1910 in Ohio County, WV the daughter of the late George and Anna Miller Kish. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church; and retired from Marshall County Board of Education where she worked as a cook at John Marshall High School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Tomlinson in 1967; five brothers, John, Charles, Edward, and infants George and Peter Kish; and two sisters, Mary Linton, and Rose Kish. Survivors include two daughters, Jo Ann (Ronald) Jaworski, and Anita Rae Miller, both of Moundsville; a son, Joseph (Lauren) Tomlinson of Pittsburgh, PA; twelve grandchildren, Gerald (Ann) Miller, Gregg (Beth Ann) Miller, all of Moundsville, Raymond (Michele) Miller of Proctor, Laura Barrows of Glen Dale, Richard (Cathy) Jaworski of Pickerington, OH, Angela Jaworski of Granite Shoals, TX, Allison (Adam) Schermerhorn of Forestville, CA, Ashly Tomlinson of Brighton, MA, Joseph Tomlinson of Los Angeles, CA, Aryn Tomlinson of Pittsburg, Natalie (Jay) Hovanec of Bellevue, WA, James Leox of Pittsburgh; twelve great-grandchildren, Raymond Barrows of Wheeling, Ken, Andrew, Shannon, and Patrick Barrows of Glen Dale, Machele, Alan, Camden, and Courtney Miller, all of Moundsville, Brandon Morris of Lewisburg, WV, Kristen Eberlin of Proctor, Zachary DeVault of Pickerington, OH,; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their gratitude for outstanding care that Ann received by the administration, staff, and clergy of Good Shepherd. Family will receive friends on Saturday from 6-9pm and Sunday from noon-3pm and 6-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville where Rosary Devotions will be recited Sunday at 3pm. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10am at St. Jude Catholic Church, 710 Jefferson Avenue, Glen Dale with Fr. John Gallagher as celebrant. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church; the American Cancer Society, 122 S. High St., Morgantown, WV 26501; or Seeing Hand Society, 750 Main St., Wheeling, WV 26003.
