Cecil A. Truax, age 83 of Moundsville, WV died Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in Stonerise Health Care Center, Moundsville. She was born November 27, 1938 in Moundsville, the daughter of the late Walter and Nora Wise White. She was a Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood N. Truax; five sisters, Mary White, Twila Adams, Nancy Brumbaugh, Violet Woods, and Bobbie Nester; and two brothers, Albert White and Mickey White. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Rogers; five sons, Johnny Truex, Bob Truex, Jimmy (Connie) Truex, Rick Truex, and Cliff (Debbie) Truex; three sisters, Orpha (Bob) Ross, Erma Carney, and Connie Nester; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, Moundsville.
