Connie Ann Didion

April 28, 1950 - May 22, 2022

Connie Ann Didion age 72 of Dale City, VA, formerly of Wheeling, WV, left this world Sunday, May 22, 2022 at home, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma. She was born April 28, 1950 the daughter of Donald Yoder of Wheeling and the late Anna Mae Knierim Yoder. Connie was the retired owner/operator of “N” Shape Fitness Center, Dale City. After retirement her favorite job arrived in 2010 when she became a grandmother. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all of those she loved and touched deeply. Connie lived life for her family and would do anything in her power to ensure they all had the best life. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by a great-niece, Terra Grace Hicks. Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, David Didion; one son, Jason (Candi) Didion of Woodbridge, VA; one daughter Nicole (Jarrel) Johnson of Fredericksburg, VA; five grandchildren, Baylee and Kenadee Didion and Maleah, Jordan and Noelle Johnson; three sisters Donna (Jim) Saus, Debbie Yoder and Brenda (Bob) Kluskey, all of Wheeling; brothers-in-law; Robert Didion of Fredericksburg, VA and Ronald (Bobbie Jean) Didion of Wheeling; and numerous other family members. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 11am until the time of Memorial Service at 1pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 1 Ridgecrest Road, Bethlehem/Wheeling with Pastor Mark Zelewicz officiating.
