Doris Ann Thompson age 86, of Marietta, OH, formerly of New Matamoras, OH passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Elison Assisted Living & Memory Care of Marietta, OH. She was born March 1, 1936, in Fly, OH, a daughter of the late Warren and June (White) Evans. Doris was a Presbyterian by faith. She was a retired administrator for Real Estate and Title Insurance Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion, Myron “Mike” Doan; brother, Marvin Evans; stepdaughter, Debbie Harasty. She is survived by a daughter Barbara J. Adams, of Florida; stepdaughter, Connie Halpern, of California; two grandchildren, Melissa Thompson and Michael Macko both of Florida; two great grandchildren, Michael J Adams and EmmaLyn Thompson. Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation, 1601 2nd Ave, Charleston, WV 25387.
