    Frank A. Perko, Sr.

    October 6, 1938 - February 25, 2022

    Frank A. Perko, Sr., age 83 of Wheeling, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 at home. He was born October 6, 1938 in Lansing, OH son of the late Frank and Creola Covington Perko. Frank was a retired manager from the A & P Tea Co. with 30 years of service, a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the afternoon McDonalds Club. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons: Timothy “Tim” Perko and Dennis “Deno” Perko; one daughter: Mary Beth LaFollett; 2 sisters and 5 brothers. Survivors include his wife, of 62 years, Mary Ann Quinn Perko; one daughter: Amy (Bodie) Cronin of Wheeling; two sons: Frank (Julie) Perko, Jr. of Wheeling, Chris (Karyl) Perko of Triadelphia; son-in-law: Chris LaFollett of Wheeling; 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 11:00am at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 2244 Marshall Ave., Elm Grove. Following the Mass, food and fellowship, with the family, will be held at the St. Vincent DePaul Parish Fellowship Hall. Private interment will be held in Our Lady-Seven Dolors Catholic Church Cemetery, Triadelphia, WV. Arrangements entrusted to the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1 Ridgecrest Road, Bethlehem/Wheeling.
