Gary Ray Dobbs, age 76 of Cameron, WV died Thursday, July 2, 2020 in Cameron Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born December 7, 1943 in Wheeling, WV the son of the late Lyle and Mabel Lough Dobbs. He was a Graduate of Cameron High School; a Vietnam Army Veteran, having serviced with the 21st Calvary; a retired laborer from AEP Kammer Plant, having worked for 36 years; a Catholic by faith; a member of American Legion Post #18; and he loved to farm. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Pauline Dobbs. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Jan Carol Dobbs; two children, Gary Brent Dobbs, and Eric Scott (Tiffany) Dobbs, all of Cameron; two grandchildren, Hunter Scott and Skye Dobbs; a brother, Terry (Cathy) Dobbs of Proctor, WV; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their appreciation to Cameron Nursing and Rehabilitation for their care. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-7pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville where funeral services will be held Monday at 11am with Fr. That Son Ngoc Nguyen and Mike Kelly officiating. Interment in Cameron Ridge Family Cemetery, Cameron with the Moundsville Honor Guard conducting Military Graveside Services.
