Gladys L. O’Neil Salisbury, age 92, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at her home. She was born October 2, 1928 in New Martinsville, WV, the daughter of the late Earl and Manzetta Nolan Loy. She was retired from Viking Glass Manufacturing Co. and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of New Martinsville. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph O’Neil and Lester Salisbury; brother, Earnest Junior Loy; four sisters, Charlotte Loy, Evelyn Loy, Freda Masters and Hazel Loy; a grandson, Leif O’Neil. Survivors include a daughter, Marjean O’Neil of New Martinsville, WV; three sons, Ralph O’Neil, Rodney (Patricia) O’Neil, Bradley Scott Salisbury all of New Martinsville, WV and step son, Lester (Brenda) Salisbury of Coshocton, OH; and brother Kenneth (Florence) Loy of New Martinsville; eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory New Martinsville.
