    Grace Gossett

    May 9, 1934 - April 3, 2022

    Grace Gossett, age 87, of Mt. Olivet passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling. She was born May 9, 1934 in Colliers, WV daughter of the late Donald and Caroline Marosi Freshwater. Grace was a retired Teacher from Marshall County Schools, a volunteer librarian with Limestone Elementary School and Our Lady of Peace Catholic School and a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Mt. Olivet. She graduated from Follansbee High School and West Liberty State College with a major in education and a minor in French. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Harry E. Gossett and her eldest son: William D. Gossett. Survivors include her children: Erin (Michael) Roth of Bethlehem, Tom (Heather) Gossett of Massillon, OH, Jeff (Carroll) Gossett of Troutville, VA, Lance (Brenda) Gossett of Bethlehem and Jon (Megan) Gossett of Mt. Olivet; daughter-in-law: Bonnie Gossett of Bethlehem; 12 grandchildren: Tommy Gossett of Nashville, TN, Zachary (Logan) Gossett of Fincastle, VA, Stevie (Katie) Gossett of Union City, TN, Hanna (Brennon) Hemming of Circleville, OH. Allegra Gossett of Moundsville, WV, Jake (Ashton) Gossett of Eagle Rock, VA, Autumn Gossett of Moundsville, Ryan Gossett of Mt, Olivet, Tyler Roth of Bethlehem, Michelle Roth of Bethlehem, Aubrey Gossett of Mt. Olivet and Julia Gossett of Massillon, OH and one great granddaughter: Indiana Belle Gossett of Fincastle, VA. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, with interment at Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard. Arrangements entrusted to Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 1 Ridgecrest Road, Bethlehem/Wheeling.
