Margaret Ann “Peggy” Stanley, age 84 of Moundsville, WV died Thursday, October 21, 2021 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV. She was born November 11, 1936 in Pittsburgh, PA. Peggy was a Christian by faith; a retired employee of Wheeling Hospital; a former employee of Marx Toy Plant; she collected magazines, enjoyed coloring pictures and scrapbooking; loved taking photographs; and especially loved her family and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents, Courtney and Peg Dayton; a daughter, Teresa “Terri” Brisco; and a granddaughter, Jessie Marie Brisco. Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Denzil Stanley; two sons, Stephen (Julie) Stanley of NC, and David (Tammy) Stanley of Moundsville; six grandchildren, Trent, Brandon, Amber, Matthew, and Hunter Stanley and Andy Brisco; ten great-grandchildren; a great grandson, Jess; two brothers, William Dayton of St. Louis, and Courtney Dayton of Ogden, UT; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Monday from 11am until time of funeral service at 1pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville with Pastor Rodney Hubbs officiating. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville. Memorial contributions may be made to Marshall County Animal Shelter, 37 Animal Shelter Dr., Moundsville, WV 26041.
