Mary Lou Howell, age 86 formerly of Bellaire, OH died Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at home in St. Clairsville, OH. She was born May 18, 1934 in Bellaire, the daughter of the late Ned and Hazel VanGosen. She was an employee at the former Marx Toy Factory; enjoyed playing Bingo, and loved porcelain dolls. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Howell; a brother, Donald VanGosen; and a sister, Peggy Farmer. Survivors include three daughters, Darlene Wallace, Pamela Dichiacchio, and Penny Briggs; three grandchildren, Gina Fitzgerald, Leandra Marling, and Larry Dale Gust; great-grandchildren, Zachary Gust, Chelsea Church, Hunter Ashleigh Gust, Madisyn Rachelle Klayko, and Taci Shae Marling; and two great-great grandsons, Bradyn Lee Wade, and Waylon Dale Gust. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12noon until 2pm at Grisell Funeral Home, 400 -33rd St., Bellaire. Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
