Norman T. Pastorius, Jr., age 65 of Glen Dale, WV went home to the Lord on July 31, 2022 at home, with his family by his side. He was born August 11, 1956 in Glen Dale, the son of the late Norman T. and Catherine Furline Pastorius. He was a graduate of John Marshall High School; a retired employee from AEP, having worked for 43 years; a member of the Glen Dale Fire Department for 48 years, where he served as Fire Chief for 20 years and a Paramedic for 30 years; a Ham Radio Operator with call Sign W8NTP; a member of St. Jude Catholic Church; and a member of W.V.T.S.N. Survivors include his wife, who he married on October 16, 1993, Diana Mattern Pastorius; two step-sons, Michael (Renee) Rhome of Morgantown, WV and Kevin (Amber) Rhome of Moundsville; two sisters, Rebecca (John) Redd of Glen Dale and Cathy (Mark Mikesinovich) Pastorius of Wheeling, WV; several nieces and nephews including Carrie (J.J.) Warman of Wheeling; and Jon (Brei) Redd of Wheeling; and two grand doggies, Putter and Sophie. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 4-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville where Fireman Services will be held at 7:00pm. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Friday at 11am at St. Jude Catholic Church, 710 Jefferson Ave., Glen Dale with Fr. Paul Cabrita as celebrant. Entombment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard, WV. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Glen Dale Volunteer Fire Department, 402 Wheeling Ave., Glen Dale, WV 26038 or Wheeling Soup Kitchen, 1610 Eoff St., Wheeling, WV 26003.
