Richard “Dick” Stricklin, age 82 of Glen Dale, WV passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. He was born November 2, 1937 in Wheeling, the son of the late Grover and Beatrice Coleman Stricklin. Dick was a retired manager at Fostoria Glass; an active member, Deacon and Elder of the Stone Presbyterian Church in Elm Grove and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Leigh Ann Stricklin. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Lois Burtrand Stricklin; daughter, Pam Hardman of Glen Dale; two granddaughters, Elise (Zach) Fecat of Glen Dale and Erica Hardman of Glen Dale; two great-grandsons, Joseph & Jacob Fecat; numerous nieces and nephews and beloved dog, Bo. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 3:00pm at Stone Presbyterian Church, 25 E. Cove Avenue, Wheeling, WV with Rev. Robert Nagy officiating. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Stone Presbyterian Church. Arrangements entrusted to Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1 Ridgecrest Road, Bethlehem/Wheeling.
