Robert Darrick Figel

Robert D. Figel, age 50, of Sardis, OH, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, at WVU Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville, WV. He was born March 18, 1971, in New Martinsville, WV, a son of Paula (VanCamp) Figel and the late John Andrew Figel. He was an IT employee of Marietta Hospital, Marietta, OH and a member of the Apostolic Christian Church Sardis, OH. Robert was preceded in death by his father, John Andrew Figel in September of 2021. Surviving is his wife of 26 years, Angie Figel; his mother Paula Figel of Sardis; two brothers, Andrew Figel of Sardis, OH, and David (Christy) Figel of Caldwell, OH; three sisters-in-law, Carrie (Ron) Gray, Cyndi Figel, and Amy Figel; nine nieces and nephews, Alysha, Baylee, Caydi, Justin, Laken, Luke, Grady, Jessica, Jake; four great nieces and nephews, Grayson, Darcy, Molly and Stacy; many special friends. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory 751 Third St. New Martinsville. A private service and interment will be held on Monday.
