Roger D. Parker, 63, of Moundsville, died Sunday, June 14, 2020 at home. He was born February 24, 1957 in Glen Dale, the son of the late Charles A. and Joy Streight Parker. He was a retired coal miner from Valley Camp Coal Company; enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren; camping with friends and family; NASCAR races; playing golf and other sporting events. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Kathy White Parker; one daughter, Jayme (Troy) Boston of Brookville, OH; one son, Roger D. (Erin) Parker, Jr. of Glen Dale; two brothers, Charles Wayne (Bonnie) Parker of Brookwood, AL, Dennis Lee Parker of Moundsville; five grandchildren, Bayley, Bayden, and Bayne Boston, Lakyn and Jadyn Parker; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00pm with Doug Jerome officiating. Entombment in Riverview Cemetery Mausoleum.
