Thomas Glen "Tommy" Cunningham

Thomas Glen “Tommy” Cunningham, age 53 of Moundsville, WV died Wednesday, May 18, 2022 in Wheeling Hospital Medical Park, Wheeling, WV. He was born May 8, 1969 in Glen Dale, WV the son of John F. and Berniece “Bunny” Boyle Cunningham of Moundsville. He was a coal miner at Bailey Coal Mine, and a former member of Sheet Metal Local 33; a member of Calvary United Methodist Church; enjoyed gardening, fishing, turkey hunting, coaching sports; and he loved being with his family and dogs, Bo and Briar. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Mildred Boyle and Anna and William Iams; and his father-in-law, Duane S. Caldwell. In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Sonja Caldwell Cunningham; three sons, James (Amber) Cunningham of Moundsville, Andrew (Hannah) Cunningham of Roulette, PA, and Caleb Cunningham of Moundsville; a grandson, Braxton Cunningham; a sister, Lori (Tom) Schorr of Moundsville; a brother, John (Debbie) Cunningham of Wheeling; mother-in-law, Roberta Caldwell, and brother-in-law, Matt Caldwell of Tampa, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Saturday from 12noon until time of Memorial Service at 1pm at Calvary United Methodist Church, 1601 -1st Street, Moundsville with Pastor Annette Carper officiating. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Diabetes Assoc., Calvary United Methodist Church or Kidney Foundation.
